Centrally located in the heart of Denver, this 185,100 square foot, addition/renovation on the existing Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Campus created a unique healing environment, designed especially for children and their families. With a separate entrance and color scheme, this cutting-edge facility boasts a full-service pediatric emergency department, 53 pediatric beds, 10 pediatric ICU beds and six operating rooms, among other facility amenities. RK Mechanical was responsible for the fabrication, transportation and installation of the all-new plumbing, piping and HVAC systems, including connection with the new power house, medical gas piping, HEPA filtration and other mechanical systems designed to support negative air and operating spaces.
