Commercial Fulfillment Center

This ground-up fulfillment center serves as a one million square foot distribution warehouse which includes offices, a recruiting center, large bathroom groups, guard shacks, break rooms and a cafeteria.

RK Mechanical completed the mechanical scope of work including the installation of 48 rooftop units (3 ton-25 ton) and three air conditioners (25 ton) supplied by Trane; a domestic water booster pump; 32 Greenheck exhaust fans; 14 Big Ass Fans; Dristeam humidifier; three air curtains; four unit heaters; two mini-splits; a solids interceptor; domestic water (15,000’); natural gas (8500’); waste and vent (8800’); 60,000 pounds of ductwork. RK Mechanical prefabricated the bathroom carrier groups in-house and built dropboxes for the open warehouse areas to save time and money. In addition, RK hired a helicopter to place roof top units, saving the project $50k.
