The National Resources Research Center is a design-build, three-story, steel structure located on seven acres. The green building features high ceilings with metal fin sun shades to capture reflective light and shade from heat gain. RK Mechanical fabricated and installed all mechanical systems, including plumbing, piping, sheet metal and HVAC.
The Milliken Middle School project included classroom additions, a new cafeteria and an auxiliary gymnasium to support its increasing enrollment demands. The mechanical system was designed to be 40% more efficient than a typical data center.
