RK Energy provided the design, technical review, structural steel fabrication, pipe fabrication, electrical services and assembly for the Whiting Redtail Pipeline Pump Skid. RK partnered with GE Oil and Gas on the project. GE provided the Horizontal Multistage Centrifugal Pumps that were secured onto our modular skid base.

As the design-assist partner on the project, RK fabricated and designed a new Liquid Pipeline Pump Skid that was installed at the Whiting Redtail Gas Plant in Colorado. The skid contained two Horizontal Multistage Centrifugal Pumps provided by GE. Each of these pumps required 189 stages and were sized at 225 GPM and 500 HP. The pumps used Y-Grade NGL in the pipeline. Each pump included a 52, 76 and 11 plan option. Due to the high NPSH requirements of the Horizontal Multistage Centrifugal Pumps, RK had to install two 500 HP Flowserve-Durco ANSI Centrifugal Pumps as well.
