HILTON GARDEN INN AT UNION STATION

This twelve-story hotel located in the Union Station neighborhood, Denver’s newly revitalized downtown transportation hub, was built on the former site of the Home Run Self Storage building. It features 233 guest rooms, over 6,000 square feet of meeting and event space, a heated indoor pool, 24-hour fitness center, rooftop lounge and two levels of underground parking. The project also included remodeling the Denver Hose Company #1 fire station, one of the city’s oldest landmarks, into a restaurant which adjoins the new ground-up hotel.

RK Water provided full-service turnkey dewatering and treatment services under a COG315000 General Permit for Discharges from Remediation Activities. Our team performed temporary dewatering on this project during ground breaking, excavation and foundation work. Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) required remediation of Iron, Manganese, and Selenium along with many other analytes which were identified in the certified permit.
