Invasive Species Research Laboratory

The Invasive Species Research Laboratory is a facility that allows scientists to study invasive species in simulated climates, while controlling the temperature, moisture and light to simulate an animal’s native habitat. This project used cutting-edge technology and construction methods. RK Mechanical completed the fabrication and installation of the entire mechanical system, including the variable air volume (VAV) system, PVC duct, steel pipe, hot and cold water, air vacuum gas, medical gas, deionized (DI) water, steam and all other mechanical features included in a typical laboratory facility.
